RS 17:2235 - Prohibition on receipt or expenditure of funds where school system exceeded minimum salary schedule No parish or city school board shall be eligible to receive or to expend any funds of the state of Louisiana for the purpose of meeting any deficit which has arisen in the operation of its public school system if such parish or city school board, at the time the deficit was sustained, was paying salaries to teachers in its employ which exceeded the amounts contained in the minimum salary schedule as fixed by R.S. 17:421.
