RS 17:276 - Physical education programs; secondary schools Each city and parish public school system, in accordance with the mandates of federal law and regulations, shall offer, as part of the physical education program at the secondary schools in such school system, sexually segregated contact sports and sexually integrated noncontact sports. Students enrolling in such physical education programs shall have the option of participating in sexually segregated contact sports, sexually integrated noncontact sports, or both.
