RS 17:285 - African language; public elementary and secondary schools Beginning with the 1992-1993 school year, any public elementary or secondary school may offer a program of instruction in an African language or languages. The State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education shall adopt necessary rules and regulations to insure the proper implementation of this Section and any city or parish school board offering such instruction shall do so in accordance with such rules and regulations.
