RS 17:2922 - Purpose and goal The State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, in consultation and collaboration with the postsecondary education management boards through the Board of Regents, shall establish state strategic initiatives to improve high school graduation rates and ensure student readiness for postsecondary education and career opportunities. Such strategies shall seamlessly connect pre-kindergarten through grade twelve education with postsecondary education and the workplace. Acts 2009, No. 257, §1, eff.
