RS 17:3776 - Effectiveness The program created in this Chapter shall be conducted as a pilot program for no more than two consecutive semesters of school which shall begin no later than the spring semester in 1991. However, if after the completion of two such semesters, the board should consider it appropriate and useful, the program created herein may be conducted for no more than two additional semesters. Thereafter, the authority for the conducting of the program shall cease and such program may not be continued or expanded without further legislative action. Acts 1990, No. 985, §1.
