RS 17:407.8 - Participation requirements; implementation A. Nothing in this Part shall be construed so as to require any school system to participate in the program as provided by this Part. Further, nothing herein shall be construed so as to require parents or legal guardians to enroll their children in any program established pursuant to this Part. B. The provisions of this Part shall be implemented only to the extent that funds are made available for this purpose from public or private sources. Acts 1992, No. 970, §1, eff. July 9, 1992.
