RS 18:1466 - Definitions As used in this Chapter, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the following terms shall have the meanings hereafter ascribed to each: (1) 'Person' shall have the meaning ascribed to it by R.S. 1:10. (2) 'Election official' means: (a) The parish board of election supervisors. (b) Clerks and their employees who perform duties in the election process. (c) Registrars of voters and their employees. (d) The secretary of state and employees of his office who perform duties in the election process. (e) Commissioners, including the commissioner-in-charge. Acts 1976, No. 697, §1, eff.
