RS 18:45 - Limitations on powers and duties of board A. The provisions of R.S. 18:43 and 44 shall be applicable only to elections for the office of governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, state treasurer, attorney general, commissioner of agriculture, commissioner of insurance, United States senator, United States congressman, public service commissioner, member of the State Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, and justice of the supreme court. B. The powers, duties, functions, and authority of the board as provided in this Part shall in no way apply or extend to any provisions of the Campaign Finance Disclosure Act contained in Chapter 11 of the Election Code and the board shall have no authority under the provisions of this Part to make any investigation or exercise any other power, duty, function, or authority in relation to the provisions of Chapter 11 of Title 18.
