RS 18:470.1 - List of candidates The secretary of state shall furnish the Supervisory Committee, Campaign Finance Disclosure Act, an alphabetical listing of the candidates for each of the offices to be voted on in each election. For a primary election, the list shall be furnished no later than five days after the close of the qualifying period for candidates and for a general election, no later than the day after the day on which the primary election returns are promulgated. For purposes of this Section, 'candidate' shall be defined as in R.S. 18:1483. Added by Acts 1980, No. 786, §2, eff. Jan. 1, 1981.
