RS 19:129 - Nonuse; penalties If the actual construction has not commenced on the water or sewerage project for which property was taken pursuant to this Part within twenty-four months from the date of the expropriation of the property, the cities of Bossier City and Shreveport shall be liable to any person from whom such property was taken for an amount equal to the compensation paid or due to such person for the taking of his property.
