RS 2:134 - Purchase price may be paid from bond issue or otherwise The purchase price or award for real property acquired, in accordance with the provisions of this Part, for an airport or landing field may be paid for by appropriation of monies available therefor or wholly or partly from the proceeds of the sale of bonds of said city, town, parish or other political subdivision, as the legislative body of such political subdivision determines; subject, however, to the adoption of a proposition therefor at a regular or special election, if the adoption of such a proposition is a prerequisite to the issuance of bonds of such political subdivision for public purpose generally.
