RS 22:1079 - Compliance of health insurance issuer with Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act A health insurance issuer who is in compliance with the privacy requirements of the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (42 USC 1320d) shall be deemed to be in compliance with state law intended to implement requirements of Title V of the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
