RS 22:163 - Name; suits A reciprocal insurer shall: (1) Have and use a business name, which shall include the words 'Reciprocal' or 'Inter-Insurance Exchange' or 'Underwriters' or 'Underwriting' or be supplemented by the words 'A Reciprocal' or 'An Inter-Insurance Exchange.' Such name shall not be the same as or deceptively similar to the name of any other insurer organized or authorized to transact business in this state. (2) Sue and be sued in its own name.
