RS 22:1763 - Limited licensing; fees A. The commissioner may issue to a rental company, whether such rental company is a foreign or domestic company, that has complied with the requirements of this Part, a limited license authorizing the limited licensee and its employees and authorized agents to offer or sell insurance in connection with the rental of vehicles. Each such employee and authorized agent shall be deemed to be licensed under the limited licensee's license when acting for or on behalf of the limited licensee. B. As a prerequisite for issuance of a limited license pursuant to this Part, there shall be filed with the commissioner a written application for a limited license, signed by an officer of the applicant, in such form or forms, and supplements thereto, and containing such information as the commissioner may prescribe by rule or regulation. The application shall be accompanied by such fee as provided by R.S. 22:821. Every limited licensee shall, every two years, notify the commissioner of his intention to continue its license on forms provided by the commissioner and shall submit a renewal fee as provided by R.S. 22:821.
