RS 22:2007 - Cooperation of officers, owners, and employees; civil and criminal penalties A. Any officer, manager, director, trustee, owner, employee, or agent of any insurer, or any other persons with authority over or in charge of any segment of the insurer's affairs, shall cooperate with the commissioner in any proceeding under this Chapter or any investigation preliminary to the proceeding. B. No person shall obstruct or interfere with the commissioner in the conduct of any delinquency proceeding or any investigation preliminary or incidental thereto. C. No person shall provide to the commissioner statements, documents, or records, which are fraudulent or materially false. D. The court having jurisdiction over a proceeding under this Chapter shall have the authority to issue such orders, including injunctive relief, as appropriate, for the enforcement of this Section. E. Failure to comply with such court order shall subject the violator to incarceration for civil contempt until compliance with the order has been obtained, and a fine not to exceed one hundred thousand dollars, or both.
