RS 22:2182 - Traditional providers access retained The establishment of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Health Maintenance Organization shall not interrupt the patient-doctor relationship that has been established by non-Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center admitting providers. Persons eligible for Medicaid, the uninsured, and medically indigent residents of the state and others in need of medical care shall retain access to traditional providers of medical care who are licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry.
