RS 22:533 - Record retention; requirements The title insurer and the title insurance producer shall maintain sufficient records of their affairs, including evidence of the examination of title and determination of insurability and records of its escrow operations and escrow accounts. The department may prescribe the specific record entries and documents to be kept and the length of time for which the records shall be maintained.
