RS 22:70 - Prior approval required before a domestic insurer may apply for admission to another state or country No domestic insurer may apply for admission to another state or country without first having obtained the approval of the commissioner of insurance of the state of Louisiana. Such approval shall not be withheld unless such application would be detrimental to the policyholders of the state of Louisiana or threaten the financial solvency of the company.
