RS 22:907 - Benefits required by domiciliary state; Louisiana residents entitled to Every policy of life insurance and every benefit contract issued by any alien or foreign insurer to an insured or beneficiary who is a citizen or resident of this state at the time the policy was issued, shall as to all rights, privileges, or duties of the insurer, the insured, or the beneficiary therein, be interpreted, performed, and enforced as to give accord and extend to such insured or beneficiary named therein and all parties legally represented or claiming through such original parties, the benefit of all legislative or legal enactments of any sort within the state, territory, or country where the insurer issuing such policy or contract is domiciled.
