RS 23:44 - Powers and duties The board of boiler inspector examiners shall conduct written examinations for all persons desiring to secure certificates of competency and commissions as boiler inspectors in this state. These examinations shall be held at such times and places as may be designated by the board, and shall be designed to test the applicant's knowledge of the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of steam boilers and their appurtenances.
