RS 23:538 - Operation of boiler without inspection certificate; penalty The operation of a boiler without an inspection certificate, or at a pressure exceeding that specified in such inspection certificate shall constitute a misdemeanor on the part of the owner, user or operator thereof punishable by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, or imprisonment for not less than ten days, nor more than ninety days, or both. Each day of such unlawful operation shall constitute a separate offense.
