RS 23:891 - Deposit to guarantee faithful performance; interest paid by employer Every person doing business in this State who requires of his employees a cash deposit as a guarantee for the faithful performance of the duties imposed upon them, shall pay to such employee in cash, interest at the rate of not less than four per cent per annum on the cash sum so deposited.
