RS 23:894 - Physician employed for employees; election or appointment by employees The physician employed to do the practice for the employees on any work, public or private, wherein more than ten persons are employed, shall be elected or appointed by the employees themselves, at elections to be held once each year, or whenever a vacancy may occur. Any persons, employed on the said work for a period of two weeks prior to the election and who has paid fees for the said physician, shall be qualified to vote.
