RS 24:557 - Compensation The members of the council and of its committees shall receive the same per diem and travel allowance in the performance of their duties as is provided for members of the legislature, and the per diem and travel allowance herein authorized and all other necessary expenses incurred by the council shall be paid for out of funds appropriated for operating expenses of the legislature.
