RS 25:1215.2 - Board purpose The board shall be a historical, cultural, and educational entity with the primary purpose of encouraging research, collecting, preserving, and presenting, as an education resource, objects of art, documents, artifacts, and the like that reflect the history, art, and culture of the parish and the surrounding area.
