RS 25:302 - Executive officers and advisory board The commission shall consist of an executive board as follows: The state superintendent of education, the president of the Louisiana State University, and the president of the Baton Rouge Art League. The executive board shall supervise the relations between the activities of the art commission and other instrumentalities of the state government, and prevent duplication of already existing functions. The executive board shall be directly responsible for the policies, functions, and activities of the commission. There shall also be an advisory board composed of the president or a representative from Northwestern State College, Louisiana Polytechnic Institute, Southeastern Louisiana College, Southwestern Louisiana Institute, the Art Association of New Orleans, and Louisiana State University, and the president of the Board of Curators of the Louisiana State Museum or his representative. The advisory board shall hold meetings for the purpose of discussing the policies and activities of the commission, and advising the executive board of the results of such discussions and deliberations.
