RS 25:893 - Division of the arts; creation The division of the arts is hereby created and established in the office of cultural development of the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism. A professional director of the division of the arts, who shall have at least three years of arts or related administrative experience, shall be appointed by the secretary upon the recommendation of the Louisiana State Arts Council. Staff necessary to effectuate this Chapter properly, insofar as funds are appropriated, shall be employed by the assistant secretary under the direction and control of the secretary and undersecretary and in accordance with policies of the department.
