RS 27:269 - Status of authorized games and gaming devices Notwithstanding any provisions of law to the contrary, it shall not be illegal to possess, offer, or play any authorized game or gaming device in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter and any such game or device shall not constitute a game or gaming device, possessed or operated, pursuant to the provisions of this Chapter and shall not be considered a gambling device as prohibited by R.S. 15:31 nor an illegal video lottery device as prohibited by provisions of R.S. 47:9075.
