RS 29:156 - Article 56. Maximum limits The punishment which a court-martial may direct for an offense may not exceed limits prescribed by this code. Under such regulations as the governor may prescribe, limitations may be placed upon the kind and amount of punishment authorized for each offense. Acts 1974, No. 621, §1.
