RS 29:25 - Manner of calling for duty A. Officers and enlisted men may be called for duty in any of the following ways: (1) By stating the substance of the order or by reading it to him in person or over the telephone. (2) By radio or television communication. (3) By leaving a copy of the order with a person of suitable age and discretion at his last known place of residence or business. (4) By sending a copy of the order or a notice containing the substance thereof by mail, telegraph, or facsimile transmission directed to him at his last known place of residence or business or to the post office nearest thereto.
