RS 29:30 - Bond of officers and enlisted men When required by the governor, any officer, warrant officer, or enlisted man of the organized militia of this state shall give bond with security approved by the adjutant general for the faithful discharge of his duties. It shall be made payable to the governor and his successors in office. Judicial proceedings relating to the bond shall be brought in the name of the state by the attorney general or by the district attorney of the parish of the domicile of the principal.
