RS 29:741 - Adoption of compact The state of Louisiana hereby adopts, as its substantive law, the applicable provisions contained in the National Guard Mutual Assistance Counter-Drug Activities Compact, thereby specifically authorizing the Louisiana National Guard to conduct those drug interdiction, counter-drug, and demand reduction activities within the state of Louisiana. The national guard of Louisiana may also enter into mutual assistance and support agreements with law enforcement agencies operating within this state for activities within this state.
