RS 3:2010 - Sale of improved varieties of livestock by state institutions In order to encourage the propagation of improved breeds of livestock in the state the director of the state experiment stations of Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College and the directors of all other state institutions, may authorize the sale at public auction of any varieties of livestock whose propagation in the state they may deem advantageous to its agricultural interests, and such sales shall be exempt from all the state duties or taxes imposed on other auction sales.
