RS 3:2227 - Separation and slaughter of cattle affected with brucellosis Any person owning or having charge of any cattle affected with brucellosis, as determined by the official brucellosis diagnostic test, shall permit the identification and branding of these animals and shall cause said animals to be immediately separated and kept separated from all other cattle and be slaughtered not more than forty-five days after date of test.
