RS 3:2267 - Violations and penalties Any person or persons who shall violate any provisions set forth in this Part, or any rule or regulation duly promulgated by the Louisiana Board of Animal Health or interferes with any employee or authorized agent of the board while in the performance of his official duties, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof in any court of competent jurisdiction, shall be fined a sum not less than ten dollars nor more than two hundred dollars, or in default thereof, imprisonment in the parish jail for a term of not less than ten nor more than thirty days, or both, at the discretion of the court, and shall also be liable to any person or persons injured for all damages resulting from such violations.
