RS 3:2307 - Inspection; application; fees A. No bees or used beekeeping equipment shall be moved unless accompanied by a certificate of inspection by the state entomologist. Beekeepers who desire a certificate authorizing the movement of bees or used beekeeping equipment shall apply to the commissioner for inspection prior to any movement of the bees or used beekeeping equipment. B. The commissioner, by rule, shall prescribe the time and manner in which an application for inspection shall be filed. C. The commissioner, by rule, may impose an inspection fee schedule provided that the fee for an inspection does not exceed the actual costs of the inspection.
