RS 3:2352 - Expenditure of funds; cooperation with federal agencies Authority is hereby delegated to the state entomologist to expend funds to establish and carry out a program for the eradication and control of the imported fire ant, and to cooperate with and to receive cooperation from the United States Department of Agriculture, including the expenditure of federal funds for that purpose, subject to the approval of the commissioner of agriculture and forestry.
