RS 3:2355 - Purpose The purpose of this Part is to prevent the introduction into and dissemination within this state of contagious and infectious diseases of catfish by providing for the inspection and control of catfish to be used for stocking purposes, which activity is hereby found and declared by the legislature to promote agriculture in the state of Louisiana.
