RS 3:2534 - Adoption of ordinance If at a special election a majority of the voters of the municipality vote in favor of the enactment of such an ordinance, the governing authority of the municipality may adopt such an ordinance and provide proper penalties, including the impounding of livestock and the appointment of pound keepers, and to secure the enforcement of the ordinance.
