RS 3:2858 - Impounded animals, release of prohibited; penalty No person shall by force, threats, or fraud release any animal impounded under the provisions of R.S. 3:2572. Whoever violates this Section shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars, or imprisoned not more than sixty days, or both. Added by Acts 1950, 2nd Ex.Sess., No. 12, §1.
