RS 3:3364 - Officers and employees A. The commissioner or his designee shall serve as chairman of the commission. The members shall elect such other officers as they deem necessary. B. The commission shall employ a director and an assistant director who shall be appointed by the commission subject to the approval of the commissioner. The director and the assistant director shall be in the unclassified service. The commissioner may employ such other personnel of the commission as he deems appropriate. All employees of the commission shall be under the direction and supervision of the commissioner. Acts 1984, No. 800, §1, eff. July 13, 1984.
