RS 3:4155 - Officers and employees A. At the first meeting of the board, the members shall elect from their membership a chairman, vice chairman, and such other officers as the board may deem advisable. Thereafter, officers shall be elected during the board's first regular meeting during the first quarter of each fiscal year. B. The board, with the approval of the commissioner, may appoint a director and an assistant director who shall be in the unclassified service of the state. Added by Acts 1983, No. 526, §1, eff.
