RS 3:4209 - Daytime or nighttime The commissioner shall cause an examination and inspection of all cattle, sheep, poultry, swine, goats, horses, mules and other equines, slaughtered and the meat and meat food products prepared in the establishments hereinbefore described for the purposes of intrastate commerce to be made during the nighttime as well as during the daytime when the slaughtering of said cattle, sheep, poultry, swine, goats, horses, mules and other equines, or the preparation of said meat, meat food products and poultry products is conducted during the nighttime.
