RS 3:4361 - Donations of land suitable for forestry or park purposes; lease or purchase of lands The forestry commission, through the state forester, may accept gifts, donations, or contributions of land suitable for forestry purposes and may enter into agreements with the federal government or other agencies for acquiring by lease, purchase, or otherwise such lands as in the judgment of the commission are desirable for state forests.
