RS 3:4606 - State standards; supply of copies A. The weights and measures received from the United States under joint resolution of congress approved June 14, 1836 and July 27, 1866, and any weights and measures in conformity therewith applied by the state shall, when they have been certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, be the state standard of weights and measures. These state standards shall be submitted to the National Institute of Standards and Technology for certification as often as required by that institute. B. The state shall supply as many copies of the state standards of weights and measures and as many other weights, measures, and apparatus as are necessary for enforcement personnel to enforce the provisions of this Chapter.
