RS 3:830 - Eggs must be candled; permitted tolerance A person offering eggs for sale to any one other than a wholesale dealer shall first candle all eggs and remove all inedible eggs. A two percent tolerance for inedible eggs will be permitted for each case of eggs at the time of inspection.
