RS 30:214 - Permit for survey entailing use of public waters or bottoms Any person who makes or causes to be made a geophysical survey entailing the use of shot points in any lake, river, or stream bed or other bottoms, the title to which is in the public, shall obtain from the State Mineral and Energy Board a special permit therefor. This permit shall be granted under the rules and regulations which may from time to time be promulgated by the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries for the protection of oysters, fish, and wildlife.
