RS 30:2455 - Office of the Louisiana oil spill coordinator The office of the Louisiana oil spill coordinator is hereby created within the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, public safety services, and shall exercise the powers and duties set forth in this Chapter or otherwise provided by law. The office shall be administered by the coordinator who shall be appointed by the governor, subject to Senate confirmation.
