RS 30:545 - Noncompliance not excused by contractual obligations Noncompliance with the provisions of this Chapter, or with rules, regulations, or orders issued by the commissioner under this Chapter may not be excused on the basis of any private contractual obligation. No person who complies with the provisions of this Chapter or with the rules, regulations or orders of the commissioner issued under this Chapter shall be liable in damages either ex contractu or ex delicto by reason of such compliance.
