RS 31:165 - Creation of mineral royalty by co-owner of land A co-owner of land may create a mineral royalty out of his undivided interest in the land, and the prescription of nonuse commences from the date of its creation. The consent of the co-owner of the party creating the royalty right is not necessary to entitle the royalty owner to receive his proportionate part of production. Acts 1974, No. 50, §165, eff.
